Training, awareness days, workshops and webinars

Our training looks to provide knowledge, upskill employees and remove barriers to people receiving the support they need.

An employee might;

  • Be reluctant to admit or ask for help.
  • Have feelings of shame – embarrassed to discuss issues.
  • Not realise their behaviours are harmful.
  • Be unaware of the available support.

For a supervisor, manager, HR staff, or someone that wants to support another person. They might;

  • Not be confident about approaching the person.
  • Not know enough about substance misuse.
  • Have limited time and resources.
  • Be unaware of local services.
  • Have their own unconscious biases.

The delivery of our training seeks to reduce the stigma and encourage people to come forward to receive the support they need and will in turn reduce risk in the workplace.
